Brand Language

Form becomes
character.

A crown, brim or deliberate asymmetry can establish status, menace, restraint or eccentricity before a character speaks.

Founder, Owner
& Hatmaker

Henry Avery founded Avery Hats in 2020 with the belief that a hat could do more than complete a look; it could help create a character.

Inspired by cinema, theatre, historical silhouettes, western imagery and darker forms of visual storytelling, he approaches every piece as a handmade object with its own presence and identity. His work focuses on shaping felt into distinctive, character-driven hats built to carry a point of view.
